DF Studio Powers August
DigitalFusion's development team extend the functionality of DF Studio to meet the needs of August's syndication services
Culver City, California, June 1, 2007 — DigitalFusion today announced that its DF Studio system powers the recently launched August syndication service. August founder Bill Hannigan approached DigitalFusion with an ambitious goal of extending the core DF Studio solution to meet the August's syndication needs.
As a new syndication business August had plenty to worry about for launch and by leaving the technology in the hands of the DigitalFusion team, August was able to focus on the business aspects. DigitalFusion was able to deliver the August system on short order by leveraging and extending its existing DF Studio system to support presentation and searching of August's syndicated images. Additionally, August is using DigitalFusion's DF Studio system to manage its selection and interaction with its photographers and its publicist approval process.
In conjunction with the release of the August syndication system, DigitalFusion also announced the update of its main DF Studio system to Version 4. With Version 4, DF Studio users now enjoy a simplified and re-designed approach to creating and sending imageMessengers and imagePortfolios.
